RSM students on the week-long 2026 ESA–CEMS block seminar – with its theme “Turning Technology into Business” – were at SBIC this summer working on challenges set by ESA BIC Noordwijk incubatees and other startups. The final pitches were at the Port of Rotterdam.
A thematic technology transfer challenge is open from Netherlands Enabling Water Technology. Dutch startups and spin-offs not yet having significant commercial revenue can enter by 31 October. SBIC community partner Deltares is a lead partner in the consortium.
SBIC recently welcomed students of the 2024 ESA–CEMS block seminar as they journeyed into the new space economy and presented exciting business ideas. ESA BIC incubatees teamed up with them with inspiring results.
SBIC recently welcomed 40 bachelor students as they gained insights of the commercial space sector and worked on 8 business challenges, with tasks set by ESA BIC, SBIC, NL Space Campus and more.
