Airbus Netherlands will build an optical ground station for Eagle-1 near to SBIC Noordwijk on NL Space Campus. The project is a European collaboration between satellite operator SES, ESA and the European Commission. An unveiling ceremony took place at the location on 14 July.

The Dutch BIC, Broker & Phi Lab programmes were represented at the ESA Commercialisation Gateway Network Meeting in Munich recently. There were also celebrations as Thomas Parry of Spherical won a top award.
