The European Space Agency (ESA) has announced a collaboration with Euronext to support the growth of European space companies by improving access to finance, increasing investor visibility and strengthening the capabilities needed to scale. Together, the two organisations are helping innovative businesses access the funding, expertise and networks required to accelerate their commercial development and compete in global markets. The collaboration was shared by the ESA Commercialisation Gateway on LinkedIn.

Opportunity for European space companies ready to scale
The new collaboration will see ESA and Euronext connecting companies from the European space ecosystem with financing opportunities, investors and expertise to support their growth. This collaboration builds on initiatives including the Euronext Helios Space Index, IPOready and the European Aerospace & Defence Growth Hub.
As part of these efforts, ESA-supported companies may benefit from opportunities designed to strengthen governance, business strategy, financial readiness and access to capital. These initiatives aim to help European SMEs and mid-caps prepare for sustainable growth while increasing engagement with investors, financial institutions and major industrial stakeholders.
Connecting financing needs with investment capabilities
In an earlier announcement, Stéphane Boujnah, CEO and chairman of the managing board of Euronext, said: “The European aerospace and defence sector includes a large number of SMEs and private companies, many of which operate internationally and supply major industry players. These companies face urgent needs to invest in their innovation and production capacities. The European Aerospace & Defence Growth Hub has been designed to effectively connect these financing needs with investment capabilities. It leverages Elite’s experience with private companies and Euronext’s European scale.””
The ESA x Euronext programme brochure (PDF) provides further information on the Euronext Elite European A&D Growth Hub, including programme details, eligibility criteria and application information. The next cohort kicks off in Paris on 18 and19 November 2026, with further modules taking place in Amsterdam, Milan and Brussels in 2027.
The programme is aimed at European SMEs and mid-caps with revenues above 10 million euros or with a significant track record of growth, and a management team ready to scale.
